Cette pièce originale est composée d'une racine collectée sur un sentier sablonneux du Courant d'Huchet dans les Landes, monté sur une jolie pièce de bois flotté collecté sur une plage landaise.
La racine est naturelle (peut-être une racine de bruyère). Le bois flotté a été restauré pour retrouver sa couleur naturelle et son veinage. Il n'a pas été teinté.
La composition offre un joli contraste clair/obscur.

"La racine des sables" (The Root of the Sands)
This original artwork is composed of a root collected along a sandy trail of the Courant d’Huchet in the Landes region, mounted on a beautiful piece of driftwood gathered from a Landes beach.
The root is natural (possibly a heather root). The driftwood has been restored to reveal its natural color and grain. It has not been stained.
The composition offers a beautiful light-and-dark contrast.
