Très heureuse d'être un jour tombée sur cette grosse racine, que j'ai mis beaucoup de temps à poncer avant de faire apparaître, en la retournant, ce bel oiseau. J'ai conservé la couleur naturelle du bois aux tons rosés que je trouve très douce, en la relevant simplement avec un vernis incolore.
J'ai choisi de ne pas lui apposer de socle pour lui laisser un aspect le plus naturel possible, comme si l'oiseau était posé dans votre chambre ou votre salon.

I am so happy to have come across this large root one day, which I spent a long time sanding before revealing, by turning it, this beautiful bird. I preserved the natural pinkish tones of the wood, which I find very soft, simply enhancing them with a clear varnish.
I chose not to add a base, allowing the piece to retain its most natural appearance, as if the bird were resting in your bedroom or living room.
